Beverage manufacturers: high-speed lines, low tolerance for stops.

Beverage plants run high-speed bottling and canning lines at thousands of containers per minute. A single critical asset slowdown — filler, capper, labeller, palletizer — propagates back through the line in seconds. Droz applies reliability engineering and AI-driven condition monitoring to keep these lines running at rate.

§ Operating context

Why downtime is brutal here.

Beverage lines are paced; a slowdown at any station costs the whole line.

  • Line balancing. A filler running at 95% rate starves the labeller and palletizer downstream; throughput collapses non-linearly.
  • CIP cycles. Clean-in-place windows are immovable; condition findings outside CIP window cascade into lost production.
  • Co-pack commitments. Many lines are contract-packed; missing run windows triggers customer chargebacks.
  • High-speed wear. Conveyor chains, indexers, cappers, and labellers operate at speeds where bearing degradation is rapid.
