Reliability engineers
Vibration, thermography, ultrasound, alignment — work that opens gearboxes weeks before failure. You hold CMVA / CINDE certifications or are on the path; you have stood on a turbine deck at 3 a.m.
What you would work on →Senior partners lead engagements end-to-end. No offshoring of judgment. Twenty-plus years of stability. We hire small numbers of practitioners we can mentor, sponsor, and trust on a Burlington-to-Houston-to-Mexico-City call.
We hire deliberately into four shapes. Every hire is mentored by a senior partner; every persona has a path to lead engagements within a few years.

What you would work on →Custom platforms for regulated industries. You write systems that ship into refineries, pharmaceutical plants, and government departments. You care about the boundary between software and the physical world.
What you would work on →Applied AI — predictive models, document intelligence, agent systems — deployed into environments that pass compliance audits. You have shipped models that survived a procurement review.
What you would work on →PMP and engineering-domain PMs who run multi-region engagements on time, on budget, on standard. You translate plant constraints into a software roadmap and back again — in EN, FR, or ES.
What you would work on →We hire deliberately. When we do, we move quickly. Tell us where to send the next opening — we will not send anything else.
When a role opens we publish it here with the full brief: team, location, employment type, what the first six months look like, who you would report to. Subscribers tagged Careers receive the brief in their inbox within hours.
Past openings have stayed open between two and eight weeks. We close them when we have signed the right person, not when a quota is met.
Every engagement has a senior partner accountable end-to-end. You learn from people who have done the work for two decades, not from a slide deck.
We do not subcontract the work we are paid for. The person you meet on the kickoff call is the person who delivers.
Founded 2004. Profitable. No outside capital. We hire when we have work for you, and we keep you for the long arc.
Burlington, Toronto, Houston, Mexico City. You work across three languages and three regulatory regimes. We support you with translation, travel, and clear written norms.
Burlington is the centre of gravity; we host quarterly engineering weeks on site. Most roles are remote-first within Canada / US / MX; field roles travel to client sites.
The hiring process is published here so the firm is accountable to its own description. Every candidate moves through these five steps in this order.
Submit your résumé and a short cover note via the role page. We read every application within a week.
A 30-minute conversation with a hiring partner to understand your trajectory and confirm fit on the role’s core requirements.
A working session with one of the senior practitioners on the team you would join. Talk through a recent engagement of theirs and a recent project of yours. No whiteboarding theatre.
A scenario rooted in real work. For engineering roles, a vibration / thermography case study. For software roles, a system-design walkthrough on a real Droz problem. We share the brief 48 hours ahead.
A written offer within one week of the final interview. We move quickly once we are aligned; we expect the same back.
Applications are handled under the Ontario privacy regime and the firm’s Privacy policy. Résumés and cover letters are stored for 12 months unless you ask for earlier deletion. We do not share applications outside Droz. See the employment-data section of the Privacy policy for the controlling text.
