Built during life. Continued, on the principal's terms.
After Life is a digital-persona platform. During life, a person and their trustee define what should be built, what may continue, and on whose terms. The platform learns from the person's voice, their writing, the memories they choose to record, and the platforms they use. After death — or at the person's own instruction — the persona continues that presence under the rules its principal set, and under the supervision of the trustee.
- Voice and likeness learning during life. The person participates in building their own persona; nothing is reconstructed without them.
- Conversational presence for family members. Text and voice conversations with the persona, available privately to the family.
- Continued posting and scheduled communications. Pre-authored messages on the platforms the principal chose, only where the principal authorized.
- Privacy and consent at the center. Nothing happens that the principal did not explicitly authorize. The trustee enforces.
